Fitness Challenge Official Rules
Entry and Eligibility to Win. To enter the Challenge, you must register online at http://yourownreality.com/fc/ prior to the end of your starting week and pay the Challenge entry fee of $40. You must weigh in with one of the designated organizers of the challenge between contest dates listed above. The challenge will be 9 weeks in length. It will begin on the day of your weigh in, and end 9 weeks later. You must complete your final weigh-ins on or before the 9 week deadline, or you will forfeit your entry fee. The entry fee is non-refundable. The challenge is open to DSS employees. Once you register on the website, one of the challenge coordinators will contact you to set-up your weigh-in. Challenge is void where prohibited by law.
Weigh-in Requirements. You must complete three weigh-ins in the manner prescribed herein to be eligible for winning the Challenge. You must complete at least one weigh-in between contest dates to provide your initial weight, one weigh-in at your mid-point, and complete a final weigh-in to provide your final weight, after your initial weigh-in, but on or prior to the 9 week deadline.
The weigh-in will consist of body composition measurements, by using a body composition scale and a tape measure for height. The same tools will be used for all participants’ measurements. The measurements will be recorded by one of the three designated organizers.
The winners of the competition will be determined by their body fat percentage change (% body fat lost).
There will be three prizes awarded as follows:
- 1st Prize – 75% of Entry fees collected
- 2nd Prize – 20% of Entry Fees collected
- 3rd Prize – 5% of Entry fees collected
